I am so excited to host the 10th year of summer sewing camp! A whole decade of sewing! This year there will be 4 full weeks of sewing camp and one “mini” week. The cost of a full week is $315. The “mini” week will be $140. All levels welcome at every camp as I do try and choose projects beginner friendly for everyone!
In the past students were responsible for buying fabric and some supplies for their projects. With both JOANN and Keep Me in Stitches closing it makes buying fabric a bit more difficult. Locally, Walmart and Michaels both have fabric and supplies. Hobby Lobby (clearwater) also has fabric/supplies if you want o take a field trip. Etsy and spoonflower have great fabric if you want it to delivered to your door! You would just need to make sure you a lot enough time for delivery.
This year I will offer also offer a kit with all fabric and supplies for $50. I will select fabric, so if your child wants to choose their own fabric you may not want to purchase the kit. If you wish to purchase the kit you will just include the $50 to the amount for camp ($315 +$50). I will not be offering kits for the mini week. Sewing machines will be provided. Students are also welcome to bring their own machine too! The supply lists will be sent out in May if you wish to purchase your own fabric. Sewing camp will run from 9am-12pm everyday and students are to bring a snack and water bottle.

CAMP WEEKS, THEMES and PROJECTS
Mini Week June 18 and 19 (Beach) $140. 5 SPOTS LEFT
Projects (shell bag and wet suit bag)
We will create a mesh bag perfect for collecting shells on your next beach vacation! After you spend the day at the beach you can protect all your other belongings by stashing your wet suit in your wet bathing suit bag.
June 22-26 (Beach Week) $315 1 SPOT LEFT
Projects (Beach Tote, shell bag, wet suit bag, turtle plushie)
We will make our own versions of this adorable Nantucket tote. The ric rac is my favorite! We will also make mesh bags perfect for collecting shells, drawstring bags lined with water proof fabric for our wet suits and adorable sea turtle plushies.
July 6-10 (My Room) $315 2 SPOTS LEFT
Projects (pillowcase, eye mask , boxy pouch, bedside caddy, book mark)
We will be making items for our rooms! We will make a pillowcase with a bow closure, bed caddy for our books and whatever else our hearts desire, a boxy accessory case, sleep mask and book mark!
July 13-17 (Big on Bows) $315 FULL
Projects (sling bag with bow, pillowcase with bow closure, Bow throw pillow, Bow hair clip and zippy pouch with bow)
Big on Bows? Who isn’t? We will make a sling bag with bow strap, a pillowcase with bow closure, a bow throw pillow, bow clip and zippy pouch with a bow key chain.
July 20-24 (Carryall Camp) $315 6 SPOTS LEFT
Projects (sling bag with bow, scooter bag, zipper pouch, envelope clutch)
This week we are making bags, bags and more bags! Zipper pouches for toiletries, a scooter caddy (for all our necessary items when tooling around the block), an envelope clutch and the cutest bow sling bag!
