What are sewing parties? How do they work? Each month I host a themed sewing party. I choose the fabric and cut out all the pieces and prep everything. Sewing parties are different than camps and sewing club. During camps and sewing club the kids will put together their own patterns, cut their own pieces before sewing. We have more time to work during sewing club and camps. The purpose of the sewing parties are to introduce the kids to sewing and to most importantly have FUN! We stitch up a fun project and eat dinner/dessert. If you want to attend a camp or party, scroll down to read all about it, send venmo secure your child’s spot, and don’t forget to put what sewing party/camp your child will be attending as well as your email address/child’s name for additional details. If your child is unable to attend a camp or party, you are responsible for finding a replacement for them.

It’s back to school so let’s celebrate and sew something fun (and useful) together! We will be stitching up a mini tote! The main fabric of our bag will be a natural canvas and the straps and base Lily Pulitzer (via amore spritzer). The inside will be a pink and white gingham. Dinner, drinks and dessert will be served.

Halloween is right around the corner and we want to be ready to get allll the candy! We will make a candy grab bag we can use for years to come! This fabric is my favorite because it GLOWS IN THE DARK! After we stitch up our bags we will enjoy dinner and dessert!

Tis the season and my two favorites…the Grinch and Nutcracker. I love these fabrics. It’s going to be hard to choose! You get to choose the fabric you want…Grinch or Nutcracker. November Sewing Camp- November 23-24
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! This year for camp we will dedicate one day of sewing to our elf and one day to the Grinch! On Monday we will make a snow tube and scarf for our elf. On Tuesday we will make a Grinch pillowcase, ornament and play grinch games.

December Camp- December 21-23
There is nothing like a homemade gift and we will be stitching up some gifts for friends, family and even our beloved fur babies! We will make a spa headband and reusable makeup remover pads gift set, crinkle fish toy for our cats and a squeaky bone toy for our dogs, a bookmark and reusable market tote.
